I’ve always had a passion for graphic design, even before I knew it could be a career. As a ten year old, I’d spend my time on the computer creating posters and holiday cards for family members. I wasn’t too concerned with the amount of paper or ink I was using up as a result of my creative endeavors (sorry mom and dad!) When I stepped away from the computer, I’d cut out images from magazines and make my own mini books. I still have one I made consisting of brand logos. I even had them categorized based on topic. By the time I entered high school I made it a goal to actively pursue graphic design as a profession.
Nowadays, when I’m not immersed in creating on the computer, I like to step outside and explore nature with my husband and daughter. I also have taken an interest in learning how to cook and bake for my family.
This sounds cliché but it’s true; creating is apart of who I am! When I find that I’m passionate about something, I will put all of my energy into producing the best work I can.
